What was on YOUR menu for Thursday?
Hi Ladies
How is everyone this evening? I'm doing good. My keyboard died on me last night so I missed out on posting but Susan posted it for me! Thanks girl!!
So how was everyones day? Mine was just a typical day.
Here is what I ate....
B~4 oz Carb Countdown milk with Designer whey protein
S~SF popsicle
L~1/4 C. Mashed Potatoes
S~SF popsicle
D~1/2 Cup Blueberry low carb yougart with 1 pack splenda
S~4 oz carb countdown chocolate milk
I've drank about 30 oz of water so far and still working on drinking more.

Today was my first day on pureed from full liquids--I was so nervous to try anything but here's what I had:
My doctor wants us eating something every 3 hours is possible(6x per day)-
5am: 4oz isopure alpine punch
8am: 6oz isopure alpine punch
11am: 2oz cottage cheese
2pm: 2oz cottage cheese
5pm: 2oz tuna w/teeny tiny bit of low fat mayo
before bed I am going to try my Nectar cappuchino with some milk because I still need to get more protein in and more H2O
By the way how has everyone been doing getting their water in now that you are eating real food--Now that I have to stop drinking 30min before eating and wait 30 minutes to drink after it seems impossible to get it all in --Im sip sip sipping---
Breakfast- I had a hard-boiled egg and a few bites of ricotta cheese w/ sugar free jelly mixed in.
Lunch- two slices of turkey lunchmeat wrapped around 2 slices of havarti cheese (try havarti cheese- it's soft, buttery and yummy!).
Dinner- I will be making meatloaf, so I'll have a little of that, and maybe I'll try some mashed potatoes.
***It';s funny- I feel like I have been eating so much, but when I write it down, I see that it really isn't much at all!
At some point today I will have a protien drink- either an unjury shake or 1/2 bottle of Isopure.
Water- not too good today- only about 35 ounces so far...but it's only 3:30 here, so I have time to catch up.
Excersize- none- my treadmill is taken apart becasue our excersize room is being painted, and it's raining outside.
HI Kay! Glad to see your keyboard is up and running. Typical day here. Here is my food list for today. I just wanted to check in before Survivor comes on.
b: 1/4 (if even that) oatmeal
30 minutes later 1/2 cup of protein shake with meds in it
l: 4 crackers with some cheese
s: 4 crackers with some cheese
Exercise: 30 minute walk here in the neighborhood.

Everyone is doing so great
b- qsmart snack bar
l- 2 slices of ultra thin ham (sprinkled with some shredded mozzerella cheese) nuked for 10 secs
s- 2 strawberries
d- 2 tbsp of grilled chicken (was soaked in italian dressing all day) Made this for my family and it was so yummy!!!

Glad to hear that everything is okay with you. Today was a good day, not to tired today, I slept well the night before. Here is what was on my menu:
B-4 ounces of Light n Fit Strawberry yogurt w/Fiber
L-1/2 c. of FF Cottage Cheese
D-1/4 c. of cream of mushroom soup & 1 ounce of gerber baby food carrot
S-1 scoop of protein powder with 8 ounces of soy milk
The usual vitamins & water. Doing better I think.

s~ 2 oz apple sauce
l~ 4 oz CIB (vanilla) w/ added protein (11g)
s~ 1 oz apple sauce
d~ 3 oz light n Fit Strawberry yogurt (w/added protein 11g)
s~ will probably have a s/f ice pop
I also had my centrum, tums and all other meds. Not enough water though, but tomorrow is another day! (Thank God)

Here's what I ate today:
8 oz. Whey Powder Protein Shake (vanilla w/ frozen peaches)
4 oz. Ricotta Cheese
8 oz. Health Wise Lemonaid
4 oz. Lite and Fit Strawberries and Cream Yogurt
3 oz. Deviled Ham w/ Cream Cheese
8 oz. Health Wise Hot Chocolate (absolutely devine!)

It's good to see your doing good!! I'm doing ok. I'm having a rocky week mentally. Everything is getting on my nerve. The more it seems like I'm trying to cope with this change, the more aggervated I get. I try so hard to get enough protein and water in and I never get enough. Some days I have NO energy. I know everyone says this first month is the hardest so I'm trying to cope. I have good days and bad days.
Sorry to vent on ya but you asked how I was feeling didn't you?
