Hi this is my first time here i was wondering if anyone can tell me if it hurts when the Dr removes the staples?

Not at all. I was really scared it would hurt too but it really didn't. They rubbed alcohol over them first them used this little tool and they pop right out. Some of them had a slight burning sensation from the alcohol but not bad at all. I promise. Take care and good luck. ~Amy~

Welcome to the Jan. board, Rita! I got my staples removed last week and it didn't hurt. 3 of the staples were hard to get out because of the skin glue my doctor put on top of them. Those 3 did sting after she removed them but its not bad at all. You will feel much better once they are out! Good Luck Kay

I got my staples out a few days ago. Some, nothing, some sting, nothing big deal but boy will you feel better after they are out. Sandra
