hot - cold sweats

Hello, I had my surgeries on 1-23. (and 1-24 because of complications) I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble regulating thier body temp. I dont mean that I have a fever or anything. I just mean that I go from being very hot and sweaty to cold and misserable all with in the same hour. I am not running a fever. Is this normal? cathy

Hi Cathy, My first week home I was having trouble with this. I was cold, cold cold. Then I would get really hot and no fever. It went away in about a week. Hope you're feeling better soon. Many hugs, Ronna

Likewise. Just moving around a bit broke me out in a sweat or my hands and feet were freezing.

For about a week after I was home I would wake up drenched in a cold sweat. I would also be freezing all day, Normally I am a very very hot person. My family has been shocked that I have the heat on so much. Hope you feel better soon. It should adjust soon. Michelle

Yesterday it was 65 degrees outside and we were running errands. I had the heater on in the truck and was wearing a sweater! I'm normally hot when everyone else is comfortable. Sylvia RNY 1/23
