Thanks Kay!! I appreciate it!! It was a bit sad to not be able to celebrate with some normal food, but I figure I will have more of a blast celebrating being skinny and healthy next year!!

I got the book for xmas when I was pre op. Its a great book. It has everything in it!! I keep it close by cause everything question I have, its in the book. I also ordered unjury and its pretty good. Its the best I have tasted other than the Designer whey I use. Did you try the strawberry too? I didn't like it. The only place to get it is from Unjury.com

Thanks for the info Kay... Glad it's on it's way to me...I'm not getting much support Post op from my Dr. office. Not that he's not a great Dr. they just gave me a packet of instructions to follow post op. I suppose I could call but seems like such an imposition when I know they are so busy. They do have is a support group that meets once a month...which I need to go to. And I've only met with the nutritionist once pre op. Maybe I should set up another appointment. So anyway with the help of you all, this website, and hopefully that book....I'll be able to stumble through this....It really helps to have people to bounce things off of.. Thanks again... Bren

Hi everyone!! B: most of a slice of well-toasted sprouted bread with a bit of butter and a slice of LF yogurt cheese L: HELL!!! In a restaurant, I think I've picked the right item, Chicken Marsala, and am all proud. WRONG!! I've never had marsala with a heavy sugar sauce. I tried to scrape it off and ate a few bites from the middle, without sauce. Then I was talking and swallowed a small piece before properly chewed. The foamies started, very mild. I got back to the office, hung my head over the toilet and puked up the stuck chicken chunk and foam. Felt better but kept wondering if I looked like a rabid dog at the restaurant table. S: cheese stick, calmed my pouchy. D: a few chunks of seasoned tofu. Drank a bottle of Isopure, Blue Raspberry this time and it was pretty good. Had another 40 oz of water, too, and am making my tea. It seems like I will debunk restaurant ordering for the group - I have 4 more business dinners in the coming week. I will not be having chicken, that's for sure!!!
