Surgery was Jan 4th too! Can I join your group?

My name is Michelle. I had surgery on Jan 4th too. I have so many questions and need to just chat with people who know what I am going through! My husband is very helpful, but just doesnt understand.

Well, please read my profile, that will give you an Idea of how I got here, and lets see..
I can eat just about anything. I guess I have gotten lucky.. Well maybe that isn't such a good thing! I can eat lettuce, some people I know said they had a very hard time with it. I can eat bread, which I only do in very small helpings and Only about two times now. I eat all kinds of meat, pasta, potatoes, veggies. Although Broccoli makes me bubbly in the tummy and not feel to well. But I have not dumped or gotten sick.
I don't think I am getting enough protein though. Im so run down all the time. I cant get off the couch. Im so tired feeling all the time. Not necessarily sleepy, just lazy feeling. I had much more energy before surgery. I am not drinking any protein shakes or drinks. I take 2 chewable vitamins a day. I take 2 pepcids a day. And right now I am on 2 macrobids a day for a urinary track infection. THAT IS SO MUCH FUN!!!
I feel like a pill junkie! It sucks.
I am now 5 weeks and a day out. But I haven't ever felt just normal. Like I did before surgery. I just feel off.
I read a post from someone who asked about the hunger pains. I get the worst of it. If I don't eat at the slightest bet of feeling hungry Im queezy, Ill get dizzy and start seeing black spots. It gets nasty. It happens about every 4 hours. I don't measure the amount of food I eat but I do watch calories, fat, sugar, and stuff like that.
I need to start exercising but like I said I have no energy, I have lost @42 pounds, but I know it could be more if I exercised. Any suggestions?
I turn the big 3-0 In less than a month now (March 1st) and me and a few friends are going to Can****his will be our second year going(we went in May 2005)... But this time I don't want to still be the only fat one there. I know I wont be a size 4 in a month, but to be a bit lighter would be nice!
