How many Cal's do you average?

Remember that each Dr. and his/her program is going to be different and that we can't really try to match each other too closely. For instance, each of us is different with regards to what we need nutritionally: while I am tall I need more than 60g of protein whereas someone smaller wouldn't need so much. Everything is relative and we need to remember that more than anything. Follow what your doctor wants you to follow and all will fall into place. I know that when I get in my protein and fluid requirements I am happy as a clam and I don't even look at calories. If we are avoiding high fat, high sugar, etc. there is no way we are going to be able to consume some astonishing number of calories. Especially not enough to sabotage our weight loss. At least not at this early stage. That is something to worry about a bit later. Hope this helps. Emily 347/320/160
