One month out-what do I eat?

Thanks in advance for any and all responses. I'm one month out today, and have lost 28lbs-------, my problem is that I am having trouble finding things to eat that agree with me. I've been able to eat oatmeal, canned meats, such as tuna, ham and chicken, and have been able to drink my protein drinks, but that is about it. Everything else I've tried, makes me . If anyone has any suggestions of different things to try that they are able to eat this early out, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Lori

Hi Lori I'm not able to eat too much either. I'm eating the same things you are but I have not tried oameal yet. I eat Tuna and eggs almost everyday. My doc said my pouch is just not ready but still try things out. I'm finding that everyday it gets easier to eat things. Everyday I post " Whats on your menu". Lots of the ladies here have some really good menus everyday. Take a look at my post and you can get some good ideas on what to eat. Kay

Lori, shrimp agrees with me alot. I didnt really care for it that much prior to the surgery but now it is fine. Just make sure it is grilled. Hormel Turkey chili is good too. I cant have beef or pork for some time. turkey lunch meat with cheese in the middle nuked to make it warm also works good for me. Kim

I love the chili at Wendy's. I get a small bowl and eat 1/2 at each meal. It is warm and hearty and has a very high protein count. You can go to wendys.com for the nutrition information.

How about eggs? Earlier out I ate mashed potatoes...they were soothing on the pouchie. What about yogurt? SF pudding? Cottage cheese? Colby/Jack cheese cubes? String cheese? (can you tell I like dairy stuff?) Congrats on the weight loss! Chele
