It's early, but what's on YOUR menu for today?
Hi all!
I know it's quite early for some of you, but I wanted to make sure I got this post on today. I have some pre-vacation running to do before work, and I am not sure I will get back home before work. I hope your weekend starts off great and ends even better!
So here's what's planned for today:
B ~ Vanilla Chai Protein Drink (already pre-mixed, delicious, will post more about it later)
S ~ maybe a string cheese
L ~ maybe a small taco salad type thing
S ~ a yoplait FF yogurt
D ~ taco insides
S ~ maybe 1/2 a slim a bear ice cream sandwich....
Having a rough pouch day
.... and we are having a mexican themed food day today at work. It's my first post-op one! My friends and co-workers were a little hesitant on asking me, but I told them I would love to participate, thanks for asking, and I would bring chips. With a little more notice, I could have even made something, but another time....

Hope everyone's weekend is going well thus far. Here's what's on my menu:
B- 1/2 cup RF corned beef hash
F-8 oz. CC Choc milk (I've joined the bandwagon!)
L- 2 oz. chicken marsala and 1 half of a pear
S- protein shake w/ 8 oz. CC milk
D- 1/2 grilled chicken breast and mashed cauliflower (leftovers from Houlihan's last night....yum!)
I usually plan my meals...like write them down the night before or early the same morning. Does anyone else do this? I mean, it helps alot so I can count out my protein.

B: baja pintos, lentils and an oz of LF shredded cheese
L: slice well toasted sprouted bread, 1/2 T butter, 1/2 oz goat cheese, slice deli turkey (yum!)
S: chicken pate at a friends house - homemade. Never did I think I would ever eat something like this, must be my low iron that compelled me to eat organ meat. I had about 1/2 c and it ws really good; was full for hours.
S2: 1/2 bottle isopure
D: 5 bites chicken breast (finding leftovers dont agree with me), 3 bowtie pastas and 2 bites feta.

B- water (was dry heaving again)
Went to the Y for water aerobics and some walking on treadmill
l- 1 hot wing -I was surprised that 1 small hot wing made me stuffed!
went to waterville and rode a roller coaster with my boys!
d- some shredded pork and a bite of coleslaw
went and played some putt-putt golf with DH and boys!
I've had a busy day with my boys today!
I had a sf pop for a snack and 2 strawberries
I've only had 20 oz of water I'm still trying to drink!!! I have had a hard time from the beginning because I was never a drinker and found I only drink at meals so I'm changing or trying hard too!!
I'm down 51lbs so I can't complain too much.
