HOWDY!
It's funny, I just realized I've been posting up here for the past few weeks because this BOARD is so awesome with out introducing myself or anything.
So here's a little blurb on me
I'm 28, married with a 4 year old son. I work full time as a nurse consultant with the disabled. My highest weight was 380 on January 4, 2006. On January 19, 2006 I had lap RNY and weighed in at 369. I weighed in on Monday at 320. I've had a hard time adjusting to eating properly- especially taking my time and eating the right portions. I was getting sick daily, now only 2-3x a week. I do not get enough protein and I don't get in enough fluids, so i struggle with both. I HATE most protein drinks and bars. I am tired a lot, but getting better each day. I did this so I could be more active, especially with my son and hopefully have another child in the next year or two once my weight loss stablizes.
Thank you all so much for all of your remarks, insights, positive energy and everything everyone contributes to the board. This is truly a wonderful place to feel part of. I don't feel so alone anymore. THANK YOU ALL.
Take care and lots of love.
Nice to meet you, Christie. I'm glad you have decided to be apart of this wonderful and supportive family.
Congratulations on your weight loss
Your doing an awesome job.
Were in the same boat when it comes to not getting enough water in. Its so hard. I try but its never enough.
Take Care
