How is everyones day? Mine has been. I went fishing with my partner today and had fun. I got up and walked around the park twice. Something I have never done in the past.
Here is my menu for today...
B~Protein shake
L~Southwestern Pita from Jack-n-the box. I only eat half of the insides and one bite of the pita. It was soooo good. It had Grilled chicken, black beans, corn, grilled onions and lettuce.
D~Baked chicken and salad
S~4 oz of CC chocolate milk w/ a scoop of protein
Vitamins.. done!
Water... 40 oz so far
Exercise.. 2- 15 minute walks around the park

I'm still not feeling well today, so I haven't done very well
B-Southbeach protein bar
L-about 1/2 of a ham & cheese roll up
D-1/2 baked potato w/butter-- a no no, I'm feeling sick from it.
a few mandarin orange sections
a bite of Wendy's chili
I got a salad from Wendy's, but it was romaine lettuce & I don't like romaine, so I just picked at the oranges--the chicken on it was too dry for me to eat==again, my dogs ate the stuff I didn't want.
I've only had about 40-50 ounces of water,,,not a good day for me.

HI Kay! I guess I will chime in here today as well, since I actually ate three times today!
B~PB&J(1 piece of pepperidge farm 7 grain bread, Natural PB, and Smucker's SF strawberry jelly) YUMMY!!! and 10 grams of protien!
L~1 sesame chicken South Beach wrap (12 grams of protien)
D~went out for the first time, Cracker Barrel. Grilled Haddock(about 1/3) and two bites of green beans and two bites of mac and cheese.
Fluids- only 30 oz. so far
Not good, but i am still sipping

B-4 ounces of Dannon Lit n Fit Yogurt Strawberry
L-1/4 c. of Lactaid 1% Cottage Cheese & a few saltines
D-1/2 c. of roatisserie (sp) chicken, few bites of baby squash and a few pita chips, bit of salad with south beach diet ranch. Yummy
Water: 32 ounces so far
Vitamins: Check

Today was a good day:
B: 1 scrambled egg with bacon bits and a good pinch of shredded LF cheese, it was awesome
L: 1/2 bowl of vegetarian chili at a restaurant, yummy, too.
S: 4 cheese cubes and a bite of broccoli at Whole Foods
D: 2 beef meatballs (Flo is thru town and I really wanted some red meat!), 1/3 herbed chicken breast. 1/2 glass red wine
S: need some protein so maybe some isopure. The above gave me about 55g protein. Oh, I bought some of those Q bars and that's 10g!
And I bought some PB, too, and feel the need to throw it away. I eat a tsp once a day and not a good thing to have around. Its like the ice cream, why tempt myself???
We dont have JITB but that SW pita sounds like a great option! I'll have to make due with Baja instead.

I heard about Q bars on our menu posts, Chele brought them up, I believe. They are a chewy bar found with other bars at the regular grocery. Made by Quaker Oats. 10g of protein and 2-3 g of sugar. There are sugar alcohols and I do feel a bit queasy after one, less than SB or other bars, however. But I get down 10g of protein so I live with it for 20 minutes. They taste pretty good, I've had the choc chip peanut butter, there's also a cinnamon vanilla, I think. For $3 I thought it worth a try.....enjoy!

Howdy! Sounds like you had a wonderful day. I love nothing more than being outside with a person I care about and just spend time enjoying nature.
My menu:
B: Power Crunch Bar
L: bits and pieces of a salad from Arby's. I didn't know the chicken in it would be breaded
Sorta defeats the purpose of eating a salad.
D: veggie burger w/ff american cheese, fried onions and peppers, a dollop of BBQ sauce on 1 piece of toasted rye.
Wow, I didn't eat any snacks today. I might grab something small before bed.
Vitamins taken, about 3/4 done on fluids, 1 hour in the gym (I started using the weight machines today in addition to cardio)
