QOTD for Friday!

Hi Valerie, I am in the travel business. Our company is a consortia of independent travel agencies spanning 4000 location in 50 countries. We are mostly corporate travel but also support a lot of leisure consumer sites; basically these agencies buy into a bigger program that we create so they can offer their clients a better price. My role is the VP of supplier relations - I work with the airlines, hotels, car, technology companies on strategy, marketing, publishing and pricing. I also was just elected president of a travel industry trade association, HEDNA - its hotel distribution and technology - all the techno stuff that makes hotel rooms appear in the computer systems used by travel agents as well as consumer sites. I am excited, its a lot of public speaking and will be a nice bump to my career path. Both roles get me around the world and I really enjoy it. Just today I was invited to a mtg in Hawaii and was working on a trade show for the fall in Hong Kong - both are new destinations for me and I'm really excited about that. Cheers, Tiff

1) Well, this always changes... right now I would have to say the greek isles... or a mediterianian cruise (ive never been on a cruise). 2) I love how this board is all people who had surgery at the same time... it means we are all at the same place in our journey and are more apt to understand and give useful support to eachother 3) erm, dont tell but i am still in my pajamas... i will most likely wear something green when i get dress

Hey All~ What's up party peeeple!?!?! I feel like being goofy today. I apologize. I just got back from the gym and I have come to realize that I may be a fit fat person. I have made it to the point that working out gives me energy, rather than pooping me out. YAY!! I worked out for a full 2 hours today. I did 35 mins on the elliptical, all the weight machines on 20lbs, then 35 more mins on the elliptical. QOD: 1) Where would you go on vacation assuming money/time/resources were no object? Somewhere's where the sand is white, the water is clear, the sky is blue, the humidity is 0%, and the temp is 77. Does that place exsist? If not, I'll make it, you said money was not object right? 2) What is your favorite thing about this board? Knowing that the people I am talking to are REAL. They are not pretending to be someone they are not. I love the freedom of expressing myself and knowing I'll get nothing but support in return. 3) Are you wearing anything green today, or do you need to be pinched? Pinch me. Hi Chele, how are you today? Great questions! 1) Where would you go on vacation assuming money/time/resources were no object? I havent been to many places so I guess any where sunny, beuatiful, relaxing and warm. I would love to go to Hawaii or any other tropical place. i have also always been curious about Australia. 2) What is your favorite thing about this board?definitely the people. Everyone is soooo sweet and truly caring. I also really like that we are all close in our WLS journey so we can ask questions and compare situations if we are struggling or having problems. 3) Are you wearing anything green today, or do you need to be pinched? yep! Here are my answers for the QOTD: 1) Where would you go on vacation assuming money/time/resources were no object? I would go on a LONG trip to Europe. I wish I could go for 2 months and go everywhere. Actually I AM going there this summer...on a Mediterranean Cruise starting in Rome, going to Greece, Sicily, France and back to Rome. I'll be there 2 weeks and the cruise is 10 days. But I am missing Spain, Portugal, Austria, Switzerland,etc..... 2) What is your favorite thing about this board? There is always someone posting and lots of interesting comments, ideas, etc. Plus there is great support here! 3) Are you wearing anything green today, or do you need to be pinched? I had a green shirt but it is too big so I DON'T want to wear it. I put it in my giant Goodwill bag! I guess I need to be pinched (ouch!).
