What's on YOUR menu for Friday?
Hi everyone,
BF- yucky protein shake
L- 1 and 1/2 TGIF pot skins with two bites of cottage chese
S- 1 oz cheddar cheese
S- 1 piece of toast
D- 1/2 cup of mash pot with cheese and cottage cheese
Fluids- 40-50oz
Exercise, walked around the block TWICE with son and hubby! Even though it was cold and after the first time my hubby said we were done, I said NO, lets do it again!!!!!!!!!! (Me, I volunteered- how awesome!)

Hi everyone, sorry i am late posting, here is what I had on Friday.
B~slim fast low carb chocolate drink(20g protien)
L~1/2 south beach cinnamon protien bar(11.5g protien) 2 strawberries
D~ 1/4 cup of philly steak w/cheese, w/o bread, and a few bites of green beans(protien??)
S~ handful of almonds and cashews
Fluids~ 60oz
exercise has been limited for this week because I hurt my knee
but i did some slow walking on and off for a total of about 1 hour

Hi Kay,
On Saturday's post you said this dinner made you feel icky. Was your turkey burger a patty from a store or premade in a restaurant? Or did you make it yourself from loose meat?
Meat that is pressed is harder to digest and something my surgeon warns against for at least 6 months, he says its the #1 thing he has to go in after. Cooking it yourself and not squeezing it is easier to digest.
Also beware of shredded lettuce as it can stay stringy and get caught up along the way.
I thought I'd pass that on in case it gives a new perspective and helps.
