What's on YOUR menu for Friday?
Good afternoon Ladies
How is everyone doing? Since it's Friday, I'm doing GREAT!!
So who has some exciting weekend plans? If the weather is nice, I'll be at the lake fishing or at the park. I also need to go grocery shopping, wash clothes and get ready to go out of town Monday morning. I think thats enough to keep me busy.
Here is my menu....
B~Protein shake
L~Egg salad..1 lg. egg, 1 tbs ff mayo, 1 tsp relish. and 1/2 slice of wheat toast. Yum!
S~4 oz Chocolate CC milk w/ added protein
D~ Boilled shrimp, lettuce w/ few cucumber slices and lite olive oil dressing.
S~SF popsicle
* That toast I ate at lunch really filled me up so I feel like I ate a lot today.
Water: only 20 oz so far
I'll get my 65 oz by bedtime.
Vitamins: iron left
Exercise: 30 minute walk.

Mine is going to be a challenge today! I was given tickets to tonights ballgame and I have to have a hot dog when I get there. I will probably end up with only a couple bites and be full, but that's okay - I've grown accustomed to throwiing away food. Earlier was a challenge too because my boss is leaving and he wanted to take me to lunch. I haven't shared my surgery with anyone, including him, so I had to just wing it. I ordered a burger and asked them to cut it in half. What a joke. The smallest burger they had was...get this...1/2 pound. That would feed me for a week! So I cut it in half, took one bite, and then thought it was too much bread. So I took it apart and ate about 1/4 of the patty with a knife and fork. The tomato, lettuce, onion, and pickle each got a taste but I was way full from the 1/4 of the patty. Now I'm still full and that was 3 hours ago.
Sigh - learning to live with this tool while appearing to be just a normal life. If I'm with my hubby it's not as difficult because we just order one entree and I take my little cut of chicken and am happy and done...
So I guess my menu today consists of 1/4 of a 1/2 pound hamburger patty (so that's what...2 ounces or so...), a slice of tomato, a slice of pickle, a leaf of lettuce, a slice of onion, a dab of mustard, and later part of a hot dog. Peanuts are a must at a ball game so I guess I'll have a couple of peanuts.
Water? Oh yeah, better drink up. I haven't been very good today at all...

today I worked all day in my son's room getting it spring cleaned. So as everyday I try to eat what I can.
B. Protein delite shake
L. 1/2 toast with ham salad on it. (Didn't feel good going down)
S. Protein delite shake
S.sugar free fruit pop. ( It was hot here today)
D.Chile and beans (nutra system) I still have some dinners left. Figured I may as well eat them instead of throwing them away.

What a day!! **breath of relief** It seems like today just flew by. Did you ever have one of those days that when you woke up you just KNEW something bad was going to happen?? I felt uneasy all morning just waiting for the ball to drop. Well my 17 year old BIL was admitted into the hospital at noon because his kidneys stopped working and my father was admitted at 2pm because of who knows what. He was shaking and had loss of breath. They are running tests on him. Besides that I had to run here, there, and everywhere. Here it is 9pm and I am getting online for the 1st time today!!!
My menu~
B: 8oz CC milk w/1 scoop protein
L: chicken, ham, and cheese salad with light olive oil dressing
D: homemade salad with lettuce, tuna, red onion, and cheese w/FF italian dressing. Later I took 5 slices of pepperoni off my family's pizza, I didn't even care about the cheese and sauce that stuck, I ate that too!
I can't even do totals today!! I threw away that wrapper from the salad and dressing. Who knows how much crap was in those pizza toppings!!
I did take my vitamins however, 2 hours at the gym, and only 20 oz of water in!! AHHHHH!!! I am just frustrated with today. Can I just go to bed and forget all about it???

Hi Kay.....hope you are feeling grand today!!! I am a little tired but that is all the walking I did, and running around like a chicken with my head cut off after my 22 month old!!! Oh well, I am a mother I should be used to this by now
B- 2 slices of roast beef deli meat with one slice of provolone melted and a squirt of mustard.
S- chuck chicken, about 2 oz.
L- more roast beef with provolone and mustard.
S- just some propel water, wasnt hungry.
D- chicken alfredo about 4 oz, took me a loooong time to eat it though, I am learning to eat slower and wait to drink after, thanks guys for all the responses to my post, it is really helping!!!
I have yet to take my vitamins, I do at night, and my calcium also.
water has been right around the 60 oz mark so fa and not done yet, I just grabbed another 16.9 oz bottle to put me over, and I will probably have a protein shake before bed too.

Well--- got my 30 mins on the treadmill in--
B--everything seemed horrible, so I didn't really get much down (perhaps 2 sips of a protein drink)
S--- 4 pieces mini choc, 2 bites donut and about 10 jelly beans at work again (my toughtest problem as I moan about it, but haven't stopped my problem eating there)
L--- 3/4 of a protein bar,
S----1 egg + cheese and ff sour cream
D--- out to a buffet--not too bad--- I had about 6 boiled shrimp, some crab, a little sushi and about 3 bites soft serve ice cream (could've been a lot worse, I felt pretty good about what I ate)

Instant Apples and Cinnamon Oatmeal w/ lowfat milk
S: thin slice of coffee cake at a meeting at work
L: 1 small bean & cheese burrito
S: a few almonds
D: Trader Joe's eggplant parmesan with 1 oz extra mozzerella
1 slice bread
S: 1 banana with 1 Tbsp peanut butter
