Good evening! They say confession is good for the soul so I'm here confessing my sin. If you feel like confessing, please join me so I don't feel so bad. This is the second time since surgery that I have cheated! The first time it was 2 FF pringles. Today..... I had 2 small onion rings. Come on, what did you have today that's not WLS friendly?? You will feel a lot better once you let it out Kay

I just ate half a stouffer's lasagna!!!! It gave me 18 grams of protein though! Not the big lasagna, the itty bitty personal one.

At least yours had protein in it. Onion rings are just full of fat. I sure miss pasta, that is one thing I have been able to eat since surgery. Lasagna sounds yummy!

Kay, You are so hard on yourself? I had a small sticky bun. It was sooooo goood. I don't dump on anything. So far I'm down 70 pounds since Jan. 6th. I eat protein and veggies for the most part. But I give in to little tastes of stuff all the time. We are only human. Michelle

WOW 70 lbs. is awesome. I've lost 62 lbs. since Jan 13 so, I'm right behind you. I try not to be so hard on myself but I'm scared that if I do give in, I'll go overboard. I have not tried anything sweet yet. I'm scared that I will dump.

Kay, I too get scared of "my old ways". The good thing is that we literally can not fill up our small pouchs with the food anymore. I don't want to be afraid of food anymore, so now I taste in moderation, anything I want. Sometimes I do end up throwing up. I am learning. I am taking in all the info from the messageboards. I go to support meetings and focus on excercise as much as I can. I have fought my weight my whole life. This surgery is tool that has given me a light at the end of the tunnel. Michelle

I'm with you, Michelle. I am not afraid to try things...I am now incapable of a "binge" so I feel it is OK to just have a little bit as long as I have protein, veggies or fruit and enough water. I ate huge quantities in the past which was what got me into trouble. I can no longer do that, thanks to the surgery. Diana
