Personal Trainer
I have one and will be meeting her for the first time in person this morning. We'll be talking, filling out paperwork, and weighing and measuring me. I don't think she is planning on torturing me today but only time will tell.
Do you have a personal trainer and if so, do you actually LIKE the person?
Are you benefitting from him/her in terms of your health and fitness level?

I started using one at the gym as I am clueless on form and technique. I plan to use her every 2 weeks or so to make sure I am doing it right and add more onto the routine. Some want you to pay to see them every time you exercise which seems excessive. I think its helpful as I dont know what I am doing and need guidance.
I do and I love him! The funny thing is when I first started seeing a trainer (not him, but someone at the same gym) I couldn't stand him. He pissed me off the first day I met him. Well, schedules changed and my only option was to work with Chris...I was so irritated, there was no way this was going to work.
Yeah, well, 3 years later he has helped me rehab a severly broken ankle, been there every step of the way through WLS and is helping me train for a sprint triathlon in August. He is one of my closest friends. I know his family and he knows all about mine. He knows when to push and more importantly when not to.
Find someone you love! You need to respect them and for them to respect you. You don't need to be friends like my situation but you have to understand one another.
If I hadn't had a trainer over the last several years I wouldn't have been working out. It's sad to say but true. The commitment to the money and the other person makes me go. It has been one of the best things I have done for myself as expensive as it is.

I have a trainer and I LOVE HIM!!!!
He is totally hot but the best part about him is he really wants to see me succeed! He does 5 pushups for every pound I loose in a two week period, and he said when I reach my goal weight he will have a shirt made for me, with my before and after pictures. He might even be at the Disneyland Half Marathon to cheer me on! He designed my workout based on what my problem areas are and wears my butt out every session. This was one of the best decisions I made besides having WLS.
I hope you have fun with your trainer, this is a great step in completing the transformation to the new YOU!!!!
