Is anyone making anything special for Easter? I am going to make our usual traditional dinner with some additions and adjustments. I also am going to try a sugar free, low carb cheescake. Leeanne

Just the usual and I won't be partaking in any "illegal" foods. However, I have purchased some SF candy. Chele

Hey Leeanne, We are having a low country boil. Dont know if ya have ever heard of that or not but is good. You take a huge pot and cook outside. Its crab and shrimp seasonings in the bag and put that in the huge pot with water. Add red small potatoes, smoked sausage, corn on the cob, shrimp, crab legs, crawfish, and onion and bellpepper with lemons to and let it boil slow. Man its gooooood and not that bad for ya. Then you let it get done and drail the food out of the liquid and put on newspaper or brown paper bag on a table and everybody digs in. Not much need for anything else but maybe a salad or french bread.Totally a southern thing lol. Happy easter Marge

So Leeanne, What time is dinner? If I leave now, I should be there in time. I'm from Charleston, SC and we call that " frog more stew" . No frog legs but thats what they call it. Only difference is we add blue crab too. OMG since i'm in Charleston visiting now I'll have to talk to the family about having that before I leave. Enjoy your dinner! Think about me as you suck on the crawfish head Kay

My Mom has made the Splenda cheese cake, it wasn't bad at all. She also made splenda pumpkin pie, but it didn't cook enough, so not sure how it tasted. My Doc has told me twice that apple pie is our friend. Make the crust as normal and then put twice the sweet apples in, sprinkle with splenda and cook as usual. He said we can eat as much as we want, a good food. I haven't tried it yet, but will soon.
