Recipe: Rose Lassi
Okay, this was in my roll call today and I promised to post the recipe. You have to try this, it is so good!!! The first thing is that you need some rose water (the edible kind, please). If you can't find it in your local store you can get it online at a number of different Indian On-line grocers. You might have the most luck locally in your health food store or farmer's market type store. (If you need help, email me)
Okay, here we go:
mix 1 C of nonfat PLAIN yogurt with 1/2 C COLD water ****d water is the best), 1/4 C of Splenda and 1TSP of rose water. Then blend with about 1 C of ice cubes and serve.
If you're careful when you purchase your yogurt, you may be able to get 13G of Pro in 1 C. Yummy! I find that this helps me take my vitamins and meds without hurting my belly! Plus I love it, plus it is fat free, plus it fills me up, plus it has protein, etc., etc. !!!
