Has anyone tried this? Take Kraft singles and put them on a plate. Nuke them for about a minute. Wait til they are cool enough to peel off the plate and let cool completely. They are crunchy cheese crackers. Yummy. You can use cheddar cheese...put grated cheese in a nonstick pan and let it melt over the heat. After the cheese "cooks" for awhile and gets a little darker in color, remove it and drape it over an upside down bowl to cool. After cooling you have an instant "basket" and you can add salad or whatever to it. Chele

I've been making these in the oven. I didn't know you could nuke them! I'm going to try some right now! I bought some pre-made ones at a lowcarb marketplace near my home. They cost 5.99 for 3 oz!!! I decided then to make them myself. I use the kraft reduced fat cheddar cheese sticks. Each are one ounce. I divide them into 3 pieces and bake on a non-stick cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 18-20 mins or until crisp. They are AWESOME! Thanks for the microwave suggestion.
