Happy Easter!!!!

Happy Easter Kay!!!
My plans are quite boring actually... going to the family get together at noon, leave at 2 and start work at 3.... ugh....
But as you said, this is also my first holiday without the food, however I did beg my aunt to make me some potato salad without the celery and she already makes it low fat, so maybe just maybe that will work!
I think I will be trying a lot of things too... I am taking a veggie tray with lowfat veggie dip.... LOVE THAT!!
But alas, this is my holiday!! Hopefully my pouch, Linda Blair as I call her, will behave tomorrow and I can feel like I got to experience the holidays too!!
Oh and I get to see my cousins that I have not seen since before surgery... being 60 lbs down, there better be some celebrating by them too!!!
Have a great holiday and enjoy your family!

Happy Easter!
I have baked a pie and cookies (and decorated them), made an Easter Bunny cake with the kids...and I'm making a pineapple casserole, ham, fresh green beans and rolls. My parents are in town and they brought cabbage rolls and pierogies.
As for what I'm going to eat, I'm going to avoid the ham as it has given me problems in the past (since WLS).
I may take one bite of everything else. Not sure yet, to be honest.
Today's plans: Hang out here at home with my parents and watch the kids spaz out on sugar.
I only wish the weather were warmer so they could run it off outside.

Morning Kay, Happy Easter right back at ya! Have lots of fun at the lake, I'd love to go to a lake, but it's probably on the verge of flooding lol!
Plans today:
Church this am, then home to change and grab the food mom prepared for dinner, then race back to my grandma's home. We'll eat about 2 or 3, so hopefully I can eat!!! Pookie (my pouch) likes to eat on a strict schedule. After we hang out there forever
we'll head home, take care of my bunnies and sit down in front of the boob tube. We're going to watch Memoirs of a Geisha and then Grey's Anatomy. We watch the Passion last night... all I have to say- whoa!

Have a wonderful Holiday Kay! My holiday is over so today is just to relax. It's not a good weather day in Chicago. We are having sever thunderstorm and hail warnings till late int he afternoon.
Tomorrow I see the surgeon so I will be sure to workout this afternoon
Have a safe trip home.
Regards and hugs,
Ronna
