Fun in the sun
Hi guys!
I have been wearing a suit since before surgery since I use lap swimming as my main form of exercise. I have never been afraid to show off my body in a suit (as an adult -- in HS that was a diff. story). I figure, I can't hide how big I am no matter what I wear, so why try? I am very big though and it is hard to find good lap-style suits that fit well and stay on the shoulders. I had to get a smaller suit the other week since the one I wore at surgery was falling off! I buy them at www.junonia.com they have some great suit fabrics and even have some that are insulated for warmth or are long legged. Even on the regular suits, the legs are very moderate and do not ride up! Best suits ever for bigger sizes!

I bought a new swimsuit. My old swimdress was a size 32 and it bagged when I tried it on last week. I went and bought a one piece jogger suit. The kind with attached shorts. I still need to cover my butt and thighs, but it's more flattering than the granny swimdress. And it was a size 26, and fit nicely!

I have bought 3 suits on ebay--brand new with tags. The most I paid for any of them is $29. They're great suits too, chlorine resistant name brand swimsuits. I was suppose to start aqua aerobics tomorrow, but now I have to be at work early due to a mandatory staff meeting. Now I'll have to wait until Thursday. The water in the pool is 80 degrees because it's for rehabilitation as well as swimming for YWCA members.
Well actually I did buy a bathing suit for our weekend trip to the beach!! I think I bought it toooo big the top wasnt holding the girls in and the bottoms were sagging. I just cant seem to get the hint that I need to buy smaller and stay away from the 2X's. Hmmm...I guess that gives me an excuse to buy a new one next month. I actually didnt mind wearing on the beach or at the pool.
Summer here I come
