Help w/ making pic's smaller.
Hi Jamie
Wow, 1 1/2 hours is a long time.
I was told not to drink for 5 minutes before a meal, and for 30 minutes after. I found not drinking with my meal hard to get used to. I still have to make a conscious effort not to. I look at the clock when I am finished eating so that I know when I can have that first sip again!
Huggs,
Ruth

Okay I checked my folder of info again and it says no fluids 30 minutes before a meal and no fluids an hour after a meal so I'm glad I posted this I was off by 30 minutes. But still an hour is a LONG time when your thirsty.
When I get all the ingredients I need I'm going to try a fruit shake. My husbands grandma makes them and they are delish and refreshing. She puts bananas, apples and canned fruit juice (I'll have to get unsweetened), and water and it's quite tasty. I was thinking I could add some unflavored protein powder to it.
I've heard alot of people talking about unjury does it have that icky whey protein taste or is it different? I cannot stand the whey protein it is horrible.

Ditto here on the 30 minute wait ... holy moly, 1.5 hours between won't leave you much time to get caught up!
My program(s) (remember, I started with one program and switched post-op to another BS) BOTH said stop drinking 30 minutes before meal and wait 30 minutes after meal.
As for juice, my nut advised no juice for first 4 months, and then only apple juice but by 50% water to help with the sugar-content. Hope that helps.
Myra
