I was online last night and saw an opening at my hospital for a phlebotomist, so.....I downloaded a job application and turned it in this morning, so please if I could have some positive thoughts, prayers, finger crossing, what ever it is that you do to throw those good vibes out there, I would sure appreciate it!! I need to get back to work and now seems a perfect opportunity to do it I am praying that the human resource people see me as an excellent candidate since I have loads of experience, but you never know how things can turn out....anyway, thanks everyone!! I'm always amazed at all post op people in the main channel going on cruises, I always thought of cruises as 24/7 buffets on a big boat. I guess that is why i'm overweight...

Well, now I remember why I quit visiting and posting to this particular board. Somebody just has to turn a generic post about cruise spam into homophobic, gay bashing. Nice touch, gentlemen.

I see your point but lets not generalize the entire board due to a few comments. Take care Scott

It is not fun when the scale doesn't move. I'm one of those weigh every day girls. My scale has been stuck for a few days. Hopefully, it will end soon. Everyone says your body has to catch up with the weight loss. I am stuck at -65 lbs. Karla 337/271/150

Well, I am up a half lb this morning (after weighing the same for a week and a half****ep saying I'm going to put the scale away and pull it out once a week, but then I never do! Why do we give the scale so much merit? I ask, cuz I sure don't know! The pattern I have noticed with me is, I lose a chunk, then the scale stops moving for a period of time. I have never stepped on the scale every day and seen a consecutive loss... Vent all you like! It IS frustrating! Know that you are not alone. Chele

Same thing exactly here. 2 weeks no loss! I also am worried that it will just stop completely. I guess it is normal. I am going to try to change my excercise a little. I am going to do yoga for the first time today. Wish me luck!

Hello Amber. Well hon, Im right there with you. I havent lost a pound in a week and I think I may have hit the dreaded plateau. It is driving me insane. I get on the scale every morning and get off all pi$$ed. I have increased my fluids (I drank 128oz total yesterday) and thats not working. I have increased my exercise (which was at NONE) and that hasnt helped. Im not sure what else to do but wait it out. And yes, I have heard the same thing, you loose the largest portion of the weight during the first 6 months. Oh well........I hope it ends soon for you hon. We just need to stay calm, I know its hard. hugs, kristi
