My Day!
Hi Everyone! I'm so sorry that alot of us are having a bit of a hard time lately... so I'm going to share my day and hopefully brighten yours a bit... :-D
My day started out like any other- got up, put a load of laundry in the washer, went out and fed the bunnies and lamb, took a shower, got ready for my pcp appointment.
At the doc's office I got to do my weekly weigh in- 285! That's an 8 pound loss! Whoopppeee!!! I'm almost at 100 pounds down since surgery, just 3 more to go and one to go until I'm half way through my journey!!!!!! In the patient room, my doctor came in and was like wow, you lost alot of weight... well duh lol. I had to remind her I had the surgery in January. She's like you'll lose more than just this, keep it up. Aww, thanks Dr. Enad! Then she went on to ask if I had chinese in my background and how beautiful I am... ok, Dr. Enad, lol no Chinese in the background, just some Native Indian :-D
After my appointment I went to Fashion Bug and K-Mart to windowshop. Last night I was trying on clothes in my closet and the 24s fit!!!!! I was wearing 2x shirts too! Yippee! Well at Fashion Bug, of course the first thing I pick up is a 26, had to force my hand to put it back, gonna try 24s today. I picked up some pants and lots of shirts- stretchy, clingy, tank top, linens, you name it, they were in my hands. The sales ladies were looking at me all googly eyed lol! In the dressing room, everything fit!!!!!!!!! Some were even a bit too big Whooppeee!!!!
Fashion Bug is in the middle of a huge sale, and prom is happening now or is closing in for the High School kids. FB had their prom dresses on sale (50% OFF!). Well since everything else fit, I decided to try a few dresses on... I've never had a prom dress or anything super pretty (other than the dress I got for the Miss Livingston pageant). The prom dresses fit!!!!!!! A bit snug in the chest area, but it was so fun to make believe I was a prom queen in the dressing room- tulle and all! I didn't have any money, but left all happy and giddy he he he.
Next I went to KMart for some cardio :-D They've got lots of sales too, people! I even eyed the swimsuits, but they weren't very young looking :) I also found Sugar Free Werthers Originals for all you butterscotch lovers!!!! I'm so glad I didn't have any money with me! LOL
On the way home, I stopped and filled up my truck. Gas is 2.93 now! Almost 3.00/gallon!!!!! ACK! :-o
Now I'm home... earlier I chatted with Dawn and Kristi H. I've gotta go out and feed and water the bunnies, work the lamb and then find something for dinner since my mom is eating with her mother tonight. Later tonight I'll be updating my website and probably chatting with Amber. How was your day!?

Hi Jaci,
Wow you really had a great day yesterday. Congratulations on fitting into the smaller sizes and having to put back the 26s. Who knew shopping would start to get fun for us! Also your 8 pound loss is excellent. That's really great.
Yes gas is out of this world expensive! So where is Livingston, California? Wasn't sure where that was so you'll have to tell me. Wish I had a Fashion Bug near me. We have The Avenue nearby but hey, it won't be long before we won't be shopping in the plus size stores anymore!
Anyways, thanks for sharing your sweet wow moments with us.

Hi Jaci,
I definitely know where Modesto is. I'll have to look up Livingston on a map to see where it is. The Avenue sells cute things from size 14 on up but they can get a bit pricey. They have a website at avenue.com if you are interested in checking their clothing out. I hope to get to a Fashion Bug sometime!

Jaci,
What a thrilling day you had!!! I am so happy for you that everything fit and you had to put down those 26's!! I can't wait to see the 200 lbs mark, it is just around the corner
I have lost another 2 lbs since I posted yesterday for weigh in and I put on an XL workout pant on today...Wahoo!!! We will get there, this does work....isn't it great?
Well as for my day, I put my 8 tomato plants in the ground and caged them, so I can't wait for the little buggers to start blooming and producing. I had a pretty good walk with the kids today, except they didn't want to cooperate, but hey they are kids after all
Anyway, I hope your moments keep coming by the truck loads!!! Take care.
Steph

Hi Jaci
Thanks for sharing your day with us. Sounds like you had an exciting day. You trying on prom dresses sounds like something I would do.
My day was boring...
Get up, drink a protein shake, take a walk then come back and take a shower.
Then I cleaned house, unpacked my bags and washed clothes. After I finished, I went to Vitamin Shoppe to buy B-12's and more power crunch bars. I also stopped to get gas at $2.90 a gallon
.
When I got home, I got online, resonded to a few post and ate lunch. After lunch, I watered my plants and swept the patio off. Then I sat outside and read a magazine.
Then I got back on the computer to do my job for about 45 minutes. ( I work for NY Times Newspaper from home). Then posted my post.
Next I cooked spegetti, salad and garlic bread for stephanie. She came home and she ate spegetti and I ate tuna.
We talked a short walk after dinner then came back to watch American Idol. I then talked to my mom and daughter on the phone for 20 minutes and also talked to a friend that I met on the OH board.
Now I'm here!
Thats the details of my boring day!!

Jaci, it sounds like you had an incredible day! It was nice to read your post after the day I had. Mine wasn't too bad, but definitely could have been better. My little girl is off school this week, but came down with the flu on Friday night, was sick all weekend and still not so hot yesterday. I feel bad for her, but I have had about all I can take of the whining! I just wanted to make her sleep all day so I didn't have to hear it any more( I feel terrible for thinking that). Anyhow, i had to take her into work with me for about an hour, then I came home, put a movie on for her, and called a debt consolidation program. I was on the phone with them for over an hour! I got off the phone just in time to leave for my 3 month post-op with my surgeon, and wouldn't you know, Hanna was sound asleep, so i had to wake her up to leave and she was MISERABLE the whole time I was at the Dr.'s. The dr visit went great otherwise! They were very pleased with my progress, and I am right behind ya girl, only 8 pounds to go to reach 100! So then we came back home, had some lunch and I typed a 5 page paper for my class tonight. I was thrilled to have gotten that done. Then i had to go feed my dads cat and his girlfrinds cat, they are away for the week, so I swung through KFC for dinner. Got home, made everyone a plate and don't ya know, the first bite I took got stuck and I thought I would die! So no dinner, I layed down until it was time for AI and watched that until it was over. That was the highlight of my day! I was so glad to see most of them do really well last night! Anyway, aren't you sorry you asked now??
Hopefully my baby will wake up better today and it will be a nicer day, although i do have class tonight, but at least I got my paper done!
