how much have you guys lost ?

I am six months out with the lap band and Ive lost round bout' 50 lbs,and I was just wanting to see what others had lost at that point?? Im wanting to see if Im really behind or if thats about the average or what??

Congratulations!! 50 lbs is terrific!! I'm not sure this is the right place for answers! Most of us haven't had surgery yet, but will be having surgery during January. There should be a board with your month, or a board specifically for lap banders that could give more insight!!

im 11 months out and i had the RNY . i only lost 46 lb

Congrats on your 50 pound weight loss! That is wonderful! I haven't had my band put in yet, but my step-sister lost 60 pounds in six months. She said the doctors told her that they didn't expect her to lose that much in that length of time. She has slowed down now to 1-2 pounds per week, which is what they expect and a good rate of loss. i am 4 months out and down 66 lbs. since surgery and 97lbs. all together.

Hi,I had surgery on 4/5/07 and have lost 82lbs. (9months).At 6 months out I had lost about 60-65lbs I think.Keep it up and take care!
