Back Home Finally

I must say, no matter how much you prepare for, you are not ready. This surgery has been vey uncomfortable for me and I have been running a fever up until today. My surgery was 1/10/08 and I was in the hospital until today. It is good to be home. I am finding it very hard to get my protein in and fluids as well. I am just not hungry. I am trying though. I had LapBand surgery in '05 and had the band removed in October. The doctor left the port in just in case I wanted to LapBand again. Since I got the RNY surgery he removed the port. The port area is what is killing me. It is so painful. I have a bruise that goes from my belly button to my left hop area. Also when I am walking my legs are killing me. Thanks for letting me vent. It sounds as if you have been through a lot. I hope things turn around soon and you're on the road to recovery now.
