HI everone
Today is my 1 month anniversart and i get to start meat--I am making a chicken in my junior showtime Rotisserie and it always comes out juicey--I am gonna add some chicken broth to it as i puree some.. I am a little nervous tho as I cannot keep Egg Beaters down and not sure if meat is gonna work for me right now--But i am willing to try--if it does not go down and settle well I will wait another week or 2.. I am trying hard to get my protein in--But it seems to be getting harder as time goes by--I am so sick of the same foods tho.. I am glad that i found thid message board of others who have had their surgeries in FEB 07--as we can all celebrate our Re-Birth Day together every Year!

I find that the profect protein tubes (25g protein, 100cal) are really tastey and I mix 1 tube to a bottle of water and I have flavoured water... that way i get my water and protein in... and it taste good too... I also found cookies and cream protein powder.. with FF skim chocolate milk, SF chocolate syrup and some ice blended tastes yummy.
hope that helps... I was lucky enough to get this from the hospital i went to, so i did not have to special order or go out of my way to find some... i am sure you can buy either of these items online as well.

Hi everyone thanks for all the love and support I had before and during my stay in at the hospital. I am feeling great today. This is my 5th day home and I am able to do everything w/out assistance. Although I am VERY VERY careful and if I feel that I can't do certain things by myself I have my loving husband that steps in and helps me. Without the support from my family I don't think I'd have recovered as quickly. This is my 5th day and I have already lost 15pds. I am sooo excited. Thanks to my angel on this site Hopeybear I managed to have a better view on this surgery! Love ya girl....
Anyways hope everyone has an awesome week and I will write back Thursday after I get back from the doctor.

So far so good for me too! I've been up and posting though! 
I've been hungry only in the morning and THIRSTY like the dickens!! YIKES! I've been working on a 28 oz bottle of water this morning and I'm going to be finish with that in no time! I hope that's not too much!
It's really interesting to see the different "protocols" doctors have us on. I was only on a liquid diet the day before my surgery. And was told I would have to remain on a liquid diet until I passed gas and/or had my first BM.
Sleeping is getting better for me. My first night home was rotten. But I'm having a much better time of it now. I can't wait to get to the point where my sleeping is as comfortable as before!

Mine came out just before I left the hospital. I decided that I would just zip my lip about that experience. I am glad I didn't have to deal with it at home, but BOY...maybe add some tequila to your fluid intake before going to have it removed.

oh God! I can't wait! I am soooo sick of SF jello and clear broth!!! I just want a teeny tiny bite of egg...just an egg!! Or maybe some liverwurst, or guacamole...or even tuna, which I don't even like that much! and my belly keeps twinge-ing like crazy! and I can't sleep cuz I'm a belly sleeper since birth but my belly hurts if I even try to lay on my side. How long does this part last???
So...you did want some whine with that, didn't you???
