Hello everyone! I have not been around this last week but it is so exciting to read about all of you are just getting home from the hospital! I love all the info. I am scared...and anxious. My doctor actually gave me a prescription for some atavan to help me relax a little..I have not taken it yet though. I know this is a wonderful thing for my health and I am hoping that I get off of my C-PAP soon. AAAHHHHHH! Anyone else scheduled for the 20th? I am sure you will see me on here more and more over the next 6 days....6 DAYS!!! WOW...I will say this all went so fast for me...I mean really fast. Talk to you all later- Mariam

Joann, I checked with my insurance and also checked this site to see who had the surgery with the same insurance and who they used. While researching my insurance I looked at numerous doctors on this site and finally decided on the group that I liked the best. I hope this helps as it is kinda vague.

Has anyone had any luck with alternative financing? I am looking at going to Mexico to have surgery...but I have no insurance and am waiting for SSI to approve my claim. So, I have only my husband's income. The surger cost in full down there is about $8k which is great...but can't afford that all in one shot. Has anyone else found a way to do this? I know there are financing companies, but credit is shot. Beginning to think it's hopeless. Dahlia

Thanks for updating, I am a bit nervous and don't know what to do with myself (my surgery is tomorrow) so I am just reading blogs, post and washing clothes. But I am very happy to hear you had a successful and uneventful surgery.

That's GREAT congrats on your wow moment. I go for my follow up with my surgeons office on feb 26. so I'll be feeling the same way you do about that WOW moment. Stephanie
