V'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
A few days shy of four months, I'm still struggling to loose that first 50 lbs. I expected to reach that landmark at three months out. I remain metabolically challenged loosing 13.3lbs and gaining 10.4lbs this month. It still blows me away that this can happen after an RNY when I'm consuming just 900 calories a day and exercising away another 800-1200 calories.
I can't help but get discouraged, however I have remained in Onederland for a month and my BP is out of the stroke range. I'm glad I did not know the full extent of my metabloism problems pre op. While I still look for a solution, at least I'm 48 lbs lighter.

V'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
I'm almost 4 months out (June 9th), and doing pretty darned good! I'm hitting the gym average 5 x's per week. Biking, Swimming, Weights. I'm down 83 lbs. This week I've had my slowest loss, but it's okay. I know I'm going to have "those times"

I quit using my C-pap at two months. I was sleeping sounder without it. Personally, it's been a stressful past several months, but that is when I hit the workouts even harder (my therapy). I actually "panic" if I miss more than two days of going to gym...eeek!!
You all take care-
Big hugs (I can get my arms further around all of you!)

It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
