My favourite are the Whey Gourmet shakes (not the juices ). I've liked every flavour I've tried so far.

I hate how that protein taste turns on you.  What is your favorite protein?  I think I am headed back to Chike vanilla or Unjury unflavored.  I just got some at GNC yesterday that isn't .....well... it is the nasty stuff I have ever tasted.   Actually the Chicken soup Unjury gets that award of grossness, but it is a close second.

Just trying to get some ideas.  I have been drinking the Special K protein water.  It is 5 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber.  It is helping me get my water and a little protein.   However, I am still trying to find a protein that is drinkable.

Thanks!  Regarding swimming pic, that is NOT me. She (in the pic) doesn't have the little ducky floaty thing around her waist.   LOL.  I actually don't have a pic of me swimming...on the jet ski yes, swimming no.

Robin,

Get a load of your bad self! You look awesome!!!  Glad to hear you are doing so wel - you're a great cheerleader, too!

I am 2 weeks out now, I've dropped 23 lbs in that time, so I'm feeling pretty good about that. I've been walking, doing the full liquids thing, getting bored w strained soup. I have had a really difficilt time with my vitamins (Bariatric Advantage), so I went to the store and got myself some liquid vits for the mean time ( I took those while I was pregnant w my son, and did very well on them). They taste nasty, but I am able to get them down without having to chew up so many different pills. I still take the BA iron, though, becasuse I was low in iron before my RNY, so I dont' want to skimp.

I've been walking 20-30 min, but it is quickly getting HOT here in FL, so I'm trying to go as early as possible. I am counting the days until I can get into a pool, wether it's to swim or just cool myself off post-walking. Everyone in my family has a pool, so it's VERY hard to resist getting in!  At least I can go up to my legs, which does help post-walk.

I share  your affinity for lazing around the house, but it is getting BORING. I am finally going to scrapbook my son's baby book ( he is 1 1/2 now, so it's about time!) tomorrow, I want to have it finished by this weekend. I think it's a reasonable goal - I got all the photos today.

Anyway, wanted to say hi, tell you how AWESOME you are doing, and let you know what's up here. Hope you have a great day tomorrow!

Okay, I have only taken my measurements three times post op. I've been working out hard 5 days per week on average (bike, swim, weights).    action_bui_backstroke02.jpg

Just took my measurements to enter with some gals from work on their chart (they are doing WW).       measuring_tape_lg.jpg

ANYWAY............I HAVE LOST 7.5 INCHES FROM MAY 5TH TO MAY 25TH!  MY BAT WINGS ACTUALLY WENT DOWN A BIT!!        Wings Bat 2103.jpg

Just had to share....
