Topic: 12 weeks post of and 71 lbs lost
Good Morning OHers,

I am 12 weeks post op this week and I have lost a total of 71 lbs down today.  (23lbs lost the month before surgery)

I'm feeling pretty good.  I had developed a stricture and have been unable to eat, but this past Friday my dilation brought me from 10mm to 12mm which has allowed me to chew soft solids for the first time in over 13 weeks and not vomit.   YEH!!!!!

I go in again on May 15th for what will hopefully be my last dilation to take it from 12mm to 15mm.

I hope everyone is doing great and has a fabulous week.

I am absolutely amazed at my weight loss! I have lost a total of 88 pounds. 30 being pre op and 58 being post op! I love my new confidence, I feel great! I can now walk, I can now walk 5 km which before hand I would have died, well at least felt like it! I am more out there in the world, not confind to my home. My children are totally enjoying it! I am generally more happy! MY dh and I do not bicker as much. My self esteem has rising!  I hate hate hate plateaus, they slow me down. I have lost inchs but I am more so wanting the scale to move, the scale said I was 462 pounds I want the scale to say 200-220! Get my point! I am a scale ***** I weight myself every morning. My hair has started falling out, not in clumps as of yet, perhaps the biotin is helping. But still its noticeable. Over all ladies I feel great. I have grazed a couple of times, without realizing, sucks, those old habbits will always be there and you always have to be ones steap ahead of them. I would like to be able to run by next summer!

I am down 66 lbs., so that makes a GRAND SUBTOTAL of 247 lbs.  for all of us so far!
Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.
