Well I have a very large panni (having triplets and then a single a year later didn't help that either) so I'm still not very excited when I look in the mirror lol.  Hopefully someday plastic surgery will solve that!  I am loving myself much more in clothes now...they hide a multitude of sins lol

I have always loved myself nekkid! But now, I REALLY LOVE it! Also, I like feeling my collar bones, and the muscle I am putting on under my slowly disappearing batwings.

It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

You've lost a lot.  I'm much more like bbaraja4.

Nearly all meats bother me at one time or another.  Turkey, chicken and salmon all favorites are among the worst.  Shrimp was ok but not last week.  No vomiting or foamies, just too full after a bite or two or I can't bring myself to swallow.

I eat 1.5oz servings of something processed or ground to avoid feeling like a stuffed turkey for hours after eating.  Even water is a challenge when I'm stuffed like that. I add goat cheese (no cow's dairy for me) or a vegetable for a 2-3oz meal.  3oz is usually too much at one time.

Docs not worried.  Just stick to the plan and keep trying to find foods I can eat...

OMG -- so many co morbidities gone so quickly! That is fantastic and I am so hapy for you.  My BP was the only co morbidity and my cardiologists will be evaluating me in a few weeks.  Fingers crossed my meds will at least be reduced.

You will be!

We're all at or nearing two months out from our February 2009 surgeries and our bodies have changed for the better!

My collar bones back to stay and the outline of my jawbone is visible in the distance.  Stepping out of the shower the other day I noticed the rolls of back fat have shrunk and the deep folds are more like soft rings.  Soon they will be ripples then they will be gone.

The belly still protrudes but not as far and my waistline is becoming better defined.  I just bought a new bathing suit and I was surprised how much smoother my midsection looks and how less prominent that notorious back fat is.

I can't tell you when last I really examined my body like this.   I haven't owned a full length mirror in over ten years.  Now I towel off in front of a huge wall to wall vanity mirror and admire my success.

To think this is only the beginning!  I'm gonna buy a full length mirror.

It is so nice to see that you are back and doing well.  I am down to 175 lbs.  I actually weigh the weight on my drivers' license!!  I am off all my meds and c-pap machine.  My diabetes is under control.  My cholesterol went from 324 to 174.  I no longer have sleep apnea.   I tuly love my RNY!!!!
