Hi, I am feeling wonderful, I can't believe last November I was so sick
with high blood pressure bad knees back aches and to top it off from taking to many advil my kidney's shut down and ended up in the hospital. Well, I am happy to say all those problems are in the past and I am so healthy now and so very happy.
I exercise, eat healthy, shop till I drop (lol) and just love life again. Thank you RNY

Topic: RE: GOAL, CAN YOU SEE IT ON THE HORIZON ANYONE?
Wow, only two slips is wonderful. I've slipped about every week for a month now. Its gotten harder so I'm actively looking to add variety. Here's to the 140's before Feb2010.

Looking to meet the surgeons goal before I go away next month. Nineteen pounds to go then there after I have my own personal goal to go to. Would like to get to 145 by february of next year well at least close to it. I have a lot more energy a lot more flexible and yet I am so happy I took the step for this surgery. I would tell everyone the same. It is life changing and gives you back yourself as a whole. Even though we go through many situations like body image right foods to eat and also buying new clothes it's worth every moment. Been working extremely hard to keep myself focused. I have slipped up two times since the surgery I had a kids sub and also tried to eat a few cookies never again. The effects of that made me ill for over twenty four hours. I tried cause I had the craving but I will stick to what I know I can have and not try anything crazy anymore. Hope everyones journey has been a good one and I hope one day I will be in the single digit for pants as well.

Your progress is just superlative is the word that comes to mind. Way beyond awesome.
Being off meds is huge. You may be a little farther from final goal than some but you've had some of the biggest victories of all the Feb09'ers.
I've been getting that low bp sometimes too so I had a med adjustment this month. I'm praying that by my next follow up its down to a diuretic only then off all bp meds by early 2010.

What you've lost is amazing. You can definetly make your personal goal.
Yesterdays size 14 is todays size 6. When I wore a 12 way back when it fit a 26" waist. Now with a 29"+ waist I wear a 6/8. Its not about bone structure, they changed the numbers. Vanity sizing its called.
The standard US size chart places me between the old 14 and 16. The clothing industry added sizes 0 and 00 when women are getting bigger not smaller. My high school 12 is nw a 2/4 by most manufacturers.

So far I am down a total of 140lbs. I still have 43more to go. I would like to get down to 175. That is the goal from my doctor and myself. I have had a few complications. I just got out of the hospital. I was rushed last week because of stomach pains, had them for four days, didn't think much about them, thought I pulled a muscle. Well, my intestins and bowels, decided to twist around and become herniated. So, rushed to the o.r. and spent a lovely five days in the hospital again. I have my staples removed this thursday, funny side, I now have a third bellybutton. God, can't wait until I can finally have plastic surgery. I still would recommend this surgery to anyone
