These last 2 lbs have been as hard as having teeth pulled!  Jeez!  Is anyone else losing like that?

Thanks Ladies. I still struggle with a few things. Like eating slowly but my body won't let me forget it. The other is drinking with my food. I have got to stop that.  Even though I only sip it is stll a bad habit.
As far as Korea- well let's just say walking is like breathing.  I walk everywhere. I don't mind the walking but the humidity is killing me. UHHHH I hate the humidity. Other than that everything is going great.
Down to 189 as of today. I just weighed last week and I was at 193. I don't feel like I lost any. I actually was thinking I gained but the scale said 189. Whatever it is I'll take it. I'm 19 lbs from my goal weight.
Ok ladies talk to you all soon.

I agree...our pouches should be in pretty darned good shape. I asked my doc last week about the "stretching issue"...to which he said, the pouch does not really "stretch", but relaxes. Whereas immediatley post op, we could fill up with about 2 oz., at a year out, 6 oz (which is still VERY SMALL AMOUNT) is the norm.
All I know is I make good choices, weigh my proteins, have some good veggie or fruity carbs, and chew well. As for the speed of eating, I finish my meals in about 15 to 20 minutes tops. I'm afraid that eating too slow will hinder the full feeling as food passes on through the pouch.

*sigh* But *****ally knows? There are so many differing opinions on this topic, and on daily caloric intake, I think we just need to eat at a speed we are comfy at, make good choices, take our supplements, and relax and enjoy our amazing journey to "ETERNAL HOTTNESS".

Hey Kat,
thanks for the nice words. Looks like you are doing great as well! I had a small slow period as well, then bumped my calories up by 100 per day, and BOOOM! There started again...
Must've been that whole "Hey woman! I'm starving here!!! So I'm holding onto all this flab!"  Appease the monster with a protein snack, and happy again!

You take care..it will pick up again..

Hugs,
Kathy

Great progress, wow, 90 lbs.  I am amazed at how much some of us Feb'ers have lost, and a little jealous too, lol.

I eat at a normal speed but I take very small bites.  I was a really slow eater all my life but with theses portions of 3-8 oz everything gets stone cold really quickly so I actually eat faster now to be done in about 20 min.

I don't think pouch stretching is a big concern.   This far out we are well healed so it would take a lot of consistant overeating to harm the pouch (I would think?).   The pouch does not take that long to empty if we chew well.

If I end up eating fast my mouth starts to water and I feel really ill. I end up needing to lay down and rest till everything passes and yet sometimes I still . Sometimes at work I have a thirty minute break but only end up getting about twenty minutes due to clients taking there time getting redressed after their massage. So I have to remind myself still at seven months out to take my time and relax. I hope everything is going good for you and your smiling.
Take Care

Thanks for replying Kat, and yes it does feel wonderful. I did write to my nut to see her opinion I don't see it stretching either if you eat small amounts of food.

Love the new avatar!  You are beautiful lady!  Your son is one handsome dude too, must take after momma!  LOL  You have done an awesome job and should pat yourself on the back quite often!  I am still stuck at 100lbs, have been there for several weeks now.  Oh well, I know it will start up again, just wi**** was sooner rather than later.  I hear ya about the saying "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels".  I try to live by that, but dammit, stuff does taste good again!  LOL  Anyway, keep up your fabulous work lady!  You rock!
