Congrats on the success. I still need to post my 6 mo. pics, but figured I will now wait till 7 months...

I'm a scale addict as well. I weigh every morning after hitting the bathroom, disrobing. Then I check the scale, and hit the shower.  What I find HELPFUL about daily weigh-in is that 1) I can get a visual if I'm retaining water (which means I need to up my intake), and also, it is a reminder to take my Milk of Magnesia if I have gone more than two days without a BM.  (I know, TMI).

I think I've been pretty lucky though. I haven't had a time post op when the scale has gone up, but I know that does happen.

I'm at about 62% excess weight loss, and like you, a bit ahead of the curve.

So glad that you are doing well, and you look wonderful!!

Take Care,
Hugs,
Kathy

Congrats on the mini goal! I hear ya about the lost weight sneaking around. I've seen it wearing sunglasses and a trench coat...trying to be very sly.....

I was thrilled to just be "obese", I don't have too far to go to hit "overweight".  Amazing the joy we find in things, eh?

Hugs,
Kathy

...obesity.  As of today with a BMI of 29.8 I am officially overweight.   I'll be looking over my shoulder because although I've lost some of this weight, I know it will keep trying to find me again.

I'm going to make sure I can spot it sneaking around well before it has a prayer of catching me.  Still to go: 20.4 lbs to goal weight and 42.4 lbs to ideal weight.

I can TOTALLY relate. Im like 3 1/2 months out, and the 1st month i lost 23 lbs, the second only 9, and the 3rd like 17....and now since 8/5 ive only lost 1 lb....last month it seemed like everytime i got on the scale i was down a pound or 2....now im blaming the scale...as if its BROKE...lol! I think its like a roller coaster ride...a lot of ups and downs!!!

Does anyone else find that you don't lose for a while, then you're down like 2-3 lbs one day. This has happened to me lately. I've only lost 16# in the last month, I know I should not be complaining but I'm a slave to that damn scale!
