Topic: 6 month post op!!!
I went in for my 6 month post op appointment on Wednesday. I went in and stepped on the scale, and the numbers were no surprise, because I am a slave to the scale (Which I was told that is ok, if it keeps me on the right track). What was the surprise was that when my surgeon came in, he was really happy about my weight loss. He told me that he expects to see 70% of of the body fat lost by the first year. Then he said that I have already lost 50% and I am ahead of what they expect. So I know that I am doing something right! I know we all have that feeling that we may be doing something wrong, and I was one of them!

Topic: Update - Stall is Gone

I just finished the 5 day pouch test.  I need to regroup and remember the right way to do things.  The crispy, crunchies had been calling me.  I wasn't  eating  too much, but I think the snacking was adding to the stall.  Anyways....finally... MY STALL IS BROKEN.  I am 187.2 this morning.

6 months  update-  ( a week late)

267 surgery morn - now 187.2 =   80 lbs , 95 lbs from highest.

morning of my measurements were = 54 / 54 / 50
today 48 /41 / 40

That is 13 inches off of my waist.

AMAZING... I will try to quit whining about not loosing fast enough.  This surgery has been life changing.

Thanks all you wonderful February people for listening to me.  You guys are sooooo great!!

Congrats on your loss.  It is nice to see those amazing numbers when the scale isn't being nice.
