Topic: RE: The work pays off!!
Huge congrats to you lady! I know all about those stalls, most of the past month has been one! I am really hoping that it will subside soon and I can get on with the losing and get the 70 or so pounds I have left off! I would love to increase my workouts, but I workout almost every day and still work full time and am taking care of home, significant other and kid, plus all my animals! LOL Maybe I should just take some time off for ME! LOL
Good luck with getting your last 40 pounds off! Keep us posted! Hugs to you!

Topic: RE: Just a Feb doing a ticker check...
I figured out how to put a BMI ticker on here too.
Even though my BMI (at goal) is still kinda high to a normal person I read that if you lift weights and have large muscle mass the BMI counter is really useless. I've been lifting weights since 1980. I look fairly thin at my current weight. I will be very thin at my 225 lb goal.
I was a bodybuilder, than as I got bigger I went into power lifting, then as I got bigger I was really strong but powerlifting is measured by lbs over you body weight. So I went through a period of lifting very heavy and not competing in anything.
Then I had to have knee surgery. That was the last straw for me. I'm going back down to my old bodybuilder weight with my new RNY tool. I lift weights 4 times a week, ride a bike or walk on my off days. This is so fun...........

Im feeling better today. Taking it slow. I have been able to keep down liquids and I even had a SF pudding cup and now im almost thru a Power Bar. Whoo-hoo. Taking it slow though.
Maybe i'll try some more solid protein tonight. Its Girls Night Dinner. Mexican. Im thinking of a beef taco, side of beans and guacamole. pour out the taco onto the beans then add the guac...YUM. I'll eat really slow then take the rest home.

Yep, you got too much. You sound like what I just went thru. I put it off from Wed to Sat. Once it started swelling it just got worse. No way should you be pbing on liquids. Thnaks Guys!!!!! As far as my post op care, I really just need to keep visiting a regular doctor and if I need more than I can always fly back to the states, but so far no complications. I will need to keep up on my lab work though over there. my husband will be working at the biggest miltary hospital over there and I can get whatever care I need there, so I think I should be fine. Wish this move wasn't coming so quickly but when they tell you you have to go then you gotta go. I will definately keep everyone updated.
