I'm scared to death to add carbs...it is such a weakness of mine! I have noticed that if I increase my protein, I do better, but am having difficulty eating. I'm not hungry, and I KNOW I have to eat 3x's a day, but usually eat 2 meals.
I'm not what you would call a "stall" but has slowed down. I was losing 4-7 pounds a week... now I'm at 2-3. Still losing.... but feel like I am having to work harder at it. I have gained a pound or two... and lost it in the same week.... frustrating...
Let us know how you are doing with your "new" way to eat!

I am also noticing a stall. I feel like my scale is stuck and not moving at all over the last month. My 6 month is in a couple of weeks and my initial goal was to drop a total of 100 by then. I am around 80 now and hav 20 to go and probably wont make it in two weeks. I guess I will just stop eating any sugar at all and hopefully see a littel more change.

V'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.

I'm finally loosing again and I've had zero weight gain (sans a little temp water weight) for the first time since my 1 month post op visit.

Once I broke with the nutritionist's plan and started doing my own thing, I dropped the gain plus 5 lbs then slammed into a two week stall.

I reviewed my diet and discovered I was unconciously gravitating back to the nutritionist plan a litle more each day. My post op diet had become habit even though it was not working for me.

Swift and decisive action! I added back forbidden foods (lc bread products, the rare half a small bagle , beans, nuts, good fats) in small quantities as my post workout meal and in 48 hrs I'm moving again. Now to get this new self prescribed diet to become habit.

So Feb 9ers how's everyone doing???
