update on little Kyle!

We heard from his mom yesterday. The bullet entered thru his cheek and exited behind his ear. As with gun shot wounds the exit wound is the worst and this is true in Kyles situation. The cheek wound in minimal, he will need extensive plastic surgery to repair the exit wound his mom said. I didn't htink to ask about hearing loss or anything else. His stepfather was chagrged with a misdemeanor and faces a $1,000 fine not sure what I think of that at this point... My son is doing OK, today was talking about all his friends and trying to count them, I think he just feels lonely with out understanding why. Thanks for the prayers! Nic

That is tough, but is not nearly as bad as it could have been. We'll keep praying that there will be no permanent damage. Joy
