Hello - from Jewell Munn's family - request for prayer
Our MoM has been on here talking with all of you.
She had her surgery this week here in Atlanta.
It went fine and she was recovering well.
However, in recovery she has had complications.
She is now in Intensive Care.
The Doctors are saying she is hour-by-hour.
they are giving her a 50/50 chance of survival.
My DaD doesn't want me to scare everyone on here, but I thought that you all would like to know where she is and hoped that maybe you could all join us in praying for her.
they say that she has a hernia (they knew this going into surgery) and that her intestines got pinched into this herina and that it caused her other organs to begin getting toxins and waste. She started to not be able to breathe and had pain. They took her to ICU and now they;ve had another surgery to get the intestines out of there and have her on life support. Her heart, lungs, liver, and im not sure what else have been damaged. She is under anestisia and being given pain medicine, etc.
If you have a hernia, i would advise more discussion before you have this surgery.
They say she will be in intensive care for weeks no matter what the outcome will be. They say that if her organs do not begin to function properly, that they will want to leave her asleep.
thank you for talking with our MoM when she was on here. We're praying that she'll be on here again in a few weeks telling you all how we were worried about nothing and laughing this off! We love her and miss her and are praying for her.
Thank you for all of your prayers - please pass the word so that we may have as many good thoughts out there directed towards our MoM as possible.
-Scott Munn
