update; Kelley T any info needed
Thanks va, I was so worried about this, I prayed hard for her today, thanks for shedding some light on the subject, I wasn't aware they could wait to see if it mended on its own if it is a small leak, I just thought a leak was bad no matter what size it was! I have so many questions for my doc., i'm so greatful for this site, and all the information you all have! God bless all the Marchers!
Hi since this is one of my issues - we do a dye shot test, find the leak, IF the surgeon feels it's repairable on it's one, MINE will leave you with the feeding tube for up to 3 months to allow proper healing time. If minor microscopic surgery is necessary, he'll do that...that's day surgery...now that's how my surgeon/hopsital are advising me on my leak. Hope this helps! Jan D
