Sally, I wish i had some encouraging words for you my problem is coke i could suck it up through a IV Bottle 24/7 if i could. LOL.. I also have to start clear liquids on Tuesday for 5 days... OH LAWD 5 WHOLE DAYS.. Talk about coke withdrawls. But i know i can not drink them after the surgery so I have to start somewhere. My prayers will be with you Sally I am really looking forword to seeing you on the losing side and sharing our experience together. (((Hugs))) Misty 8 days and a wake up call

Thanks, Misty! At least you could probably get away with drink a FLAT no caffeine coke someday...LOL might now taste too great though. But do remember that you can hurt your new pouch badly with carbonation...so take care!

You can do it Sally. Carefull of the Sugar Free candy tho, lots of them are made with sugar alcohol and this can cause some dumping from what I have read -- just be careful. I am having my last beers this weekend (not like I drink a lot, but do like to now and then). Saying bye-bye to my friend. Gotta party by myself -- hubbie went on a guys night out instead of spending this last hoora with me. Whitney

Sally, your posts are one of the reasons I stick around this forum after coming here to get some quick help. You are an amazing force. Be the same friend to yourself in the coming days, I am sure you will be. I felt immense relief once on the road with the preparations and I hope it will be the same for you. I easily believe you will be able to resist that candy when the time comes. It's not so hard to do with the saftey net of this surgery under you. That's why I'm feeling already, even two weeks into it. It's very, very different (at least for me), so I hope you will experience it soon. Gano
