I'm FREE, Free at last!!!!!
No all joking aside,
I am home.
The staff at William Beaumont was wonderful
,
But I left the second that I could.
They put me in a room with a B***H that cried and whined ALL NIGHT!!!
Even with the PDA, I could not sleep at all.
As soon as I heard that she was staying I was OUT......
So home was rough a bit.
But I feel pretty good based on situation.
Hey some odd questions,
1. How long till you pasted a bowel movement?
2. What is with all the gas????
The food sucks but we all knew it would. The sugar free stuff with splenda has been OK though.
Thanks for all the prayers and such you are the best!!!!

1. On the third day at the hospital, I had some loose dark stool. The doctor assured me that was normal and that the Fleet's would continue to affect me for some days. Things are still, loose, but less like diarhhea about 11 days post op.
2. The gas is probably the CO2 they used to pump you up with. I had no clue it would be so...special either. The more you walk, the more it will come out and leave you alone. Again, I am finding that has settled in the last two days. I call it "farting your way to better health." It's one of those things you might as well laugh about. And a good reason I'm glad I didn't have to go back to the office right away. The gas can also give you a flu like nasty feeling that subsides as it does.
Sugar free popsicles are the bomb. Load up with a few.
Best,
