Physical Changes have started!

My surgery is 8 days away and the changes have started already! Until three hours ago I had hair all one length down to the middle of my back. Now from the back I think I look like a boy. So, despite theI got it all cut off and the first of the physical changes have started. Now I just gotta convince all of the hairs to lay down nicely and not be suchbrats and stick out every which way! That's all! Gayle Queen of Yarn Balls Down 5 lbs from a hair cut!

I guess I did that too, I got a hair cut Thursday night.

OOOOh...you be so brave n stuff to do this outta the gate! I'm gonna give myself a couple months, hopefully have dropped 25-30lbs then go and have the whole thing...the tye dye (hair foiled) a different cut and see what I look like...I'm pretty blonde and I'm thinking of going, golden??? Not sure........I'm a wussy...LOL more power to ya darlin!! Jan D

You really are ready for a change aren't you Gayle. I have been growing my hair for a year+ -- at first, I thought I was growing it for Locks of Love, but I realize that I was growing it because I felt that it was the only thing that hubbie found about me and after I have lost the weight and feel better about myself, it is gone (it's pretty, but I get more compliments when I cut it shorter and choppier) It's such a pain in the rear to take care of. I am ready to let it go, just not yet. Whitney

Wow surgery sis ... you have much more nerve than I do!! I have been growing mine out for Locks of Love too, and I while there is enough length there, I am not willing to cut it until I can cut it and still leave it past my shoulders, so I have a while to go yet!
