CALL your surgeon's office and find out what the deal is with the insurance. And then call the insurance company - explain to them that you're 7 days pre-op, you need to make arrangements and the delay on the approval is 'messing up your plans', that you need to know what the delay is being caused by. Once you get that approval, you'll feel so much better. But light a fire under them - explain that there's a timeline in action here, and you NEED TO KNOW. I'll call you later.
