Protein Shake News

Hi everyone. I am 7 days post-op and just feeling terrific. I'm sharing some unsolicited information about the protein shakes I'm using. I purchased a box of vanilla shakes. The shake powder comes in a resealable pouch, the entire pouch has a whopping 60 grams of protein! And that's before you add the milk! I split one pouch up twice a day, so I use half in the morning and the other half in the evening. It is very convenient, and I don't have to scramble to make sure I'm getting my protein in. Here's the best part. DELICIOUS! I know taste is subjective and what I like may not be to your taste, but I am so happy with this product I wanted to share it with you. Hey where did you get these wonderful things? I Love the huge dose of protein you get from them!! I am going in for surgery in about an hour from now I will leave home. I just hope that after surgery I'll still like them. I'm glad to here that you can still drink them Maureen and I hope I'll be able to also. Seems like your doing a great job. No consipation? Thats what I'm worried about with so much protein. Are you mixing the 1/2 packet with the 6 oz of milk or are you diluting it more? Thanks and congrats on your recovery. By the way, you can add some flavored extracts to have different flavors also.... Cindy
