Things a keep on changin'

My surgery was originally scheduled for tomorrow at 1pm They changed it to 10:20 and I was concerned about my cold & laryngitis I just got off the phone with the doc's office - they moved me again and as long as I have no fever or flemmy cough they will do the surgery They had a cancellation, and I'm now at 7:30 am - 1st one in!! Looks like now I'll be snoozin' before ya Sally NewPouch Here I come mgm IDI Bitty will be born and hopefully resting comfortably by this time tomorrow

Wow good deal!!! I don't have to be to the hospital until 9:45 on the 22nd. Even though I would prefer to be early, that is really better for me I can sleep in my own bed on Sunday night and shower in my own bathroom on Monday a.m. before I start on the almost 2 hour trip to the hospital. My time for sugery tomorrow was also changed. Originally I was to be at the hospital at 9:00 am which worked out great because of the kids school time and all. Now I just got the phone call that I need to be there at 7:30 am. Wishing you the best of luck on your journey .May your journey be smooth and your recovery easy. May we both have an angel looking out for us as we begin our new lives..........

I know what you mean about the kid thing. I was hoping to see my daughter off to school before I left. Now I have to be at the hospital at 6am and her bus will pick her up at 7:10. I notified the guidance counselor and her teachers about the surgery, so they will be paying extra attention to her tomorrow. She also gave me her favorite stuffed dog to take to the hospital with me to use as a belly pilow when coughing. I'd better stop before I start cryin' again. I'm gonna miss her, even if it is only 2 days!! I'll be saying a prayer for you and all the other 16ers before I go to bed tonight. Have a safe and uneventful surgery and speedy recovery. mgm

I have to be IN the hospital at 8 am but my surgery isn't until 1:30 pm. All of the patients for that day need to be there at 8 am that way if there's a cancellation everybody will be on hand to be brought in however much earlier than originally planned. It can still change for me too though. I have to call on Friday to make sure nothing has changed. I can't eat after midnight and without SOMETHING in me I end up with migraines so heres hoping that they give me a glucose IV right away! Gayle Queen of Yarn Balls
