Post-Op Question

Okay all of you luck Post-op's, here is a question for ya.... If you had to do this again, what would you bring with you to the hospital that you wish you would have brought in the first place? Kellie the Bar Keep 7 days and jittery

Not a thing. Actually, I would have brought LESS...I only used my robe, slippers, chapstick and phone card in the hospital, my pillow on the way home. Could've put all that in a shopping bag... Kimmer Queen of the Niners, Instigator to All Marchers, High Priestess of Giggles

I would have brought less....they supplied all my toiletries, and I didnt have time to read, besides visitors and all the walking I was doing I didnt have time for much else. Dont load yourself up with lots of stuff. I did use my own pillow to sleep on, much better than those hospital plastic coated things. This was by far my easiest surgery, and I wanted to be up and about and moving so my slippers got a good work out!...Good luck! Janelle

I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BROUGHT LESS DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF THINGS THAT I HAD TO BRING HOME!! (FLOWERS, CARDS, HOSPITAL THINGS) AND PLUS THE BAGS I BROUGHT

I would have brought so much less, all I used was my robe, slippers, underwear, maxipads(which I hate), pj's, chapstick. thats it, I sooo brought to much with me!! ~Nicole

The best thing that i took was a body pillow. Got it Wal-mart for $8. I was able to lay on my left side and tuck the pillow between my legs!! Man what a blessing!! Con't forget the robe and the chapstick. They make you walk right away, and you are very dehydrated!! Good luck, Jen T
