Partially Collapsed Lung

Hey Folks, I have just come from the Doctor and the bottom lobe of my left lung has collapsed. Since I walked in under my own power and am not having serious shortness of breath, she let me come home. When I take a deep breath though, my left side tops out the pain scale at a 10. I need the Marcher Prayer Warriors on the job. If this doesn't resolve by noon tomorrow, I will have to go back into the hospital and get a chest tube. Thanks in advance, Va 13 Sunrises Post-op

Wow, Va...this is TOO odd.... I've been thinkin' 'bout you off and on all day. You just keep coming to mind. My Mom taught us that whenever someone comes to mind like that, to pray for them, so I've been prayin' for ya all day off and on. Was gonna send you off an email when I was done on the board, and I was JUST about done, and saw this. Va, you BE CAREFUL and take it VERY easy. Rest assured that now that I know why you've been in my head all day, the prayers are up to full force now. Keep us posted... Oh Va I`m so sorry to hear this. Did they say way or how this happened ??? I had a weird feeling in my right side today and thought oh no what if its my lung. let us know how it goes for you. Debbie

Hi Va, I've been laying pretty low lately, spending time with family and being quiet so I can better concentrate on praying, I guess that is how it gets right before surgery. But when I saw you were having problems, I decided that I had to let you know that this prayer warrior in Wisconsin is praying for you, and just to let you know that our kind and gentle Jesus will hold you in His hands and everything will be just fine. My prayers are with you. Actually, more than my prayers are. I have to go in in about half an hour with shortness of breath. I'm hoping to get out of the whole thing with an inhaler. But, who knows, I may be in denial (ya think???) Ugh to that chest tube. I will pray very hard you do NOT have to go there. Gano
