This will get better when you get to progress to more solid foods. Even full liquids (creamy soups and thin cream of wheat) will be more satisfying because they stay in your stomach longer. Soft foods are even better. You will get there--hang in there!
Also be aware that most of us struggle with "head hunger". That is, we want to eat out of habit or out of emotional needs that do not stem from physical stomach hunger. This may also be adding to your feelings. Head hunger is real and is one of the emotional issues we have to confront in this life change. We'll just struggle through this together. Remember: Nothing tastes as good as thinness will feel.
