Va Update
I don't have much to tell you, but this is what I know. Va had her CT scan at 7:00 this morning. They are sending her home for the time being to wait for the results. She was told that the results would not be ready for another 24 -48 hours. The waiting is horrible -- to no nothing. She is in excrutiating pain when she takes a deep breath. Keep my angelette in you prayers.

OMG!!! just 1 week (after today, I'll bbe counting in days)

Why must she wait? For someone qualified to read the films? I had a CT scan (pulmonary) last night at 7 and had the results at 9. Unless the films must be sent somewhere else to be read, I don't get it and I believe she, or someone who is not in pain, should push for faster action.
(BTW, mine was okay (no pulmonary embolism) but there are some troubling aspects that I will discuss with my cardiologist. They have nothing to do with the surgery and may be artifacts of the scan.)
Please let her know I am thinking of her and was doing so also as my own ordeal unfolded.

Whitney, thank you for the update. I hate that she has to wait for her results. It doesn't make sense when someone is in that much pain. She will continually be in my prayers.
